• Upload a merchant processing statement for review (the document itself, stored securely)
• Contact us directly via phone or email

• Referral source and UTM campaign parameters (how you found us)
• A hashed, non-reversible version of your IP address (for bot filtering; we cannot recover the original)
• Browser type and operating system (standard server logs)

We use the information you provide solely to:

• Contact you about your rate analysis request
• Review your processing statement and prepare a free savings analysis
• Send you the results of your rate review
• Answer questions you ask us directly

We use technical analytics data to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Your contact information and processing statements are stored in a secured PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon (neon.tech) in the United States. Uploaded statement files are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage.

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our service and fulfill any regulatory obligations. If you request deletion, we will remove your information within 30 days. Contact us at joe@ratekillers.com to request deletion.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We use the following service providers who may process your data on our behalf:

• Postmark — transactional email delivery (your lead notification emails)
• Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting
• Cloudflare R2 — file storage for uploaded statements
• Render — web hosting infrastructure

Each provider is contractually bound to use your data only to provide their services to us.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use a single session cookie and local storage to distinguish unique visitors for analytics purposes. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels from ad networks, or cross-site tracking technologies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing before withdrawal)
